    The Director of Learning and Development supports the vision of the Total Healing Environment and the values of respect, integrity, accountability, commitment and quality by providing leadership in the design, development and implementation of organizational and individual learning programs that result in an effective and efficient workforce and organizational alignment with our Mission, Vision and Values.

    Job Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Organizational Development, Healthcare, Human Resources or a related field
    • Five years of experience in learning and leader/staff development
    • Two years of experience managing and implementing clinical training programs
    • Five years of supervisory experience
    • Experience in an acute, healthcare environment preferred
    • Familiarity with Learning Management/Talent Management Systems with the ability to develop and deploy learning management technology; Cornerstone preferred
    • Knowledge of adult learning theory
    • Strong ability to lead and apply organizational and change theories
    • Excellent facilitation, public speaking, and communication skills
    • Ability to problem solve by collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions
    • Ability to deal with abstract and concrete variables and synthesize information from diverse sources to achieve optimal outcomes
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, providing excellent customer service
    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities/tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
    • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Master’s degree in Organizational Development or related field
    • Experience in an acute healthcare environment
