    The ACO Analytics Data Analyst supports the vision of the Total Healing Environment and the values of respect, integrity, accountability, commitment and quality by compiling, analyzing and reporting organizational data to support population health management for the North Central Arizona Accountable Care (NCAAC) organization.

    Job Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • Associate's degree in Information Management, Healthcare Information, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related field. Bachelor's degree preferred
    • Two years of progressive experience in healthcare analytics and informatics
    • Two years of experience working with healthcare data, specifically claims
    • Strong mathematical, analytical, and statistical skills: exceptional string analytic abilities, with proven track record of insightful findings from quantitative & qualitative data
    • Strong familiarity with payer and provider economics across Medicare, Medicaid and commercial businesses
    • Extensive computer knowledge and advanced proficiency with MS Office. (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint.) Advanced MS Excel skills to include pivot tables, advance functions, macros, formulas and conditions.
    • Extensive knowledge and experience with programming languages, e.g., Visual Basic, SQL, Java, others) and reporting software, e.g., Crystal Reports, SQL Report Builder and Access. Experience using Tableau software a plus
    • Previous experience developing rich and visually compelling presentations to communicate complex concepts
    • Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills and the ability to effectively listen and communicate verbally and in writing providing excellent customer service
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities, possessing an acute attention to detail
    • Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities/tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment
    • Must possess a professional, proactive, and independent approach to work
    • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. Must be able to effectively manage all confidential material and abide by all organizational, state and federal regulations 

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Clinical healthcare education/experience
