  • Job Summary

    The Ultrasound Technologist supports the vision of the Total Healing Environment and the values of respect, integrity, accountability, commitment and quality performing a variety of Ultrasound procedures under the supervision of Imaging Services leadership. 

    Job Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • Current, valid ARDMS certification (RDMS) or certification eligible OR if responsibilities limited to Breast Ultrasound only, current, valid ARRT Breast Sonography credential required
    • Proficient in performing Ultrasound procedures
    • Working knowledge of all department medical equipment
    • Current AHA BLS for Healthcare Provider certification
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing providing excellent customer service
    • Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Current, valid State of Arizona (MRTBE) Radiologic Technologist license (CRT)
    • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred; Cerner strongly preferred
