Job Summary

The Outpatient Wound Care RN supports the vision of the Total Healing Environment and the values of respect, integrity, accountability, commitment and quality under the supervision of the Clinical Operations Supervisor, performing the primary functions of assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care in a case management model that includes a holistic approach to a defined and assigned case of wound care patients.

Job Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in nursing
  • Advanced wound care experience
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred; Wound Expert and Cerner strongly preferred 

Required Qualifications:

  • Must hold a current, valid Arizona or compact state RN license
  • Two years recent acute care RN experience
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Provider certified
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing providing excellent customer service
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities/tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment
  • Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows
