Job Summary

The Practice Administrator-Clinical Services supports the vision of the Total Healing Environment and the values of respect, integrity, accountability, commitment and quality by providing leadership and operational oversight to assigned clinic(s) and the general management and performance of the medical practice(s), including patient workflow, systems utilization, financial performance, physician and staff satisfaction, and general operations. Acts as clinical leader for all clinics to ensure standardization of nursing care and practice in accordance with all regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.


Job Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Four years of experience managing multiple practices or clinics
  • Working knowledge of medical office operations including patient registration, scheduling and medical records systems

 Required Qualifications:

  • Must hold a current, valid Arizona or compact RN state license
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field. Master's degree in business administration, clinical or health services administration preferred
  • Seven years of RN experience; medical practice or clinic experience preferred. May consider an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Seven years progressive supervisory or management level experience; medical practice or clinic experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Medicare, managed care programs, third party payers, Workers' Compensation CPT, ICD codes, and patient account collections
  • Must be current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Provider certified
  • Proficiency using electronic medical records; Cerner preferred
  • Proficiency using PC based applications, including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain effective relationships with medical and administrative staff, patients and the public
  • Strong leadership and business operations experience
  • Ability to exercise initiative, sound judgment and problem-solving techniques in the decision-making process
  • Understanding of and/or experience with relevant federal and state employment laws
