Job Summary

The Medical Technologist supports the vision of the Total Healing Environment and the values of respect, integrity, accountability, commitment and quality by providing routine and complex laboratory analysis and interpretation in the delivery of quality laboratory services and patient care provided by the Clinical Laboratory Department.

Job Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous hospital laboratory experience 
  • Previous experience with laboratory information systems
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred; Cerner strongly preferred  

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree, with Medical Technologist's or Medical Laboratory Technologist's certification by ASCP, AMT, ISCLT, or NCAMLP
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing providing excellent customer service
  • Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows
